Statement Re Driving Tests and Bad Weather
The Road Safety Authority (RSA) wishes to advise its customers scheduled to take a driving test today Thursday 7th and tomorrow Friday 8th January 2010 that their driving test may be cancelled due to the bad weather.
The RSA will make every effort to contact candidates in advance, and notify them if their test has been cancelled.
The RSA also advises candidates scheduled for a driving test not to travel if it is not safe to do so. In such circumstances candidates should phone the 24hr cancellation line 1890 40 60 40 and the test will be re-scheduled free of charge.
As driving tests may be affected for the remainder of the week, candidates are advised to check www.drivingtest.ie for updates.
All candidates who have their tests cancelled due to the current bad weather conditions will have their tests rescheduled at the earliest opportunity free of charge.
The RSA would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused which is due to circumstances beyond our control.
