IBT/EDT Review – Workshop Schedule

The RSA have launched public, Sponsor and ADI meetings to allow people to give their views on the effectiveness of the current mandatory driver and rider training arrangements in Ireland. The Road Safety Authority (RSA) hosted its 2012 International Road Safety Conference at Dublin Castle on Monday 16th April 2012. The theme of the conference was ‘Recidivist Behaviour and Driver Rehabilitation’ and ran from 9.00am to 2.45pm in the Main Conference Hall, Dublin Castle, Dublin 2.

50% Increase in Cork Road Deaths Despite National Decrease

Excessive Speed a Factor in 1 in 4 Road Deaths Between 1996 and 2010.Provisional figures have revealed that road deaths in Cork increased by 50% in 2011 (compared to 2010) despite an overall reduction in the number of fatalities on Irish roads.
