How to apply
If you are making an application for a workshop card (PDF) you can:
Apply in person:
Apply in person by attending at our public office, with your application form and photocopies of supporting documentation (certificate of digital tachograph training course, proof of identity).
Your photograph can be taken at the counter or you may bring a photograph with you.
Apply by post:
Apply by post, in which case you should submit your completed workshop card application form to:

Fees
A digital tachograph card for a workshop costs €50.
This fee should be paid by cheque, bank draft, postal order or money order.
Cash should not be sent in the post.
How long does it take?
It can take between 3 and 4 weeks to process a valid application for a Digital Tachograph workshop card. Please ensure that you allow plenty of time for your application to be processed.
Invalid or incomplete applications will be returned to the applicant.
Filling out the application form
Application forms should be completed in block capitals in black ink.
