Cancelling your Test

If you are not involved in the provision of essential services or essential retail outlets, please cancel you test appointment here.

Waiting for a Test Date?

We are experiencing a high demand for driving tests at the moment. If you have submitted a driving test application we will be in touch with an appointment date, there is no need to contact us.

Need a test urgently?

If you are an essential worker and require an urgent test in connection with that work, then you can request a test here.

The Driving Test

To obtain a driving licence you first need to pass your driving test. In this section, you will find out how to apply for it, where to take it, and how to prepare for it to ensure you’ve given yourself the best chance of success.

As a result of Covid-19 measures, our capacity to undertake driving tests, at pre-Covid 19 levels, has reduced.

Given the demand for driving tests and in the interests of fairness, for the foreseeable future we are prioritising customers in order of application date as well as applications from essential workers. Please note there is no need to contact us to schedule a test as we are unable to schedule test over the phone or by email request. Instead we will contact you once we reach your date of application in scheduling tests.

Also, we are experiencing delays in responding to customer queries due to the exceptional high number of calls and emails to our customer service teams. But we do offer a number of customer self-service options:
