That’s why it's vital you choose the appropriate tyres and keep them correctly maintained. Your safety, and the safety of your passengers and other road users, depend on it.

All of your tyres must:

  • meet the correct standard and size for your vehicle
  • be properly inflated
  • be free from defects
  • have a tread depth of at least 1.6mm
