African Swine Flu

Please see an information sheet and poster on African swine fever which has been produced by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine. African swine fever (ASF) is a devastating disease of pigs and wild boar which now affects several European and Asian countries. Ireland is free of ASF and as an international haulier, you can help us remain free by reading the attached leaflet and adhering to some simple guidelines. You can also help by disseminating the leaflet and poster to colleagues and staff involved in international transport and by displaying them in areas where they will be seen.

Your ongoing help and co-operation with this matter is much appreciated by the Department of Agriculture.
