Update - Road Safety Alert – Red Weather Warning Issued for Storm Jorge for counties Galway and Clare

Met Eireann has issued a status red warning for very severe winds associated with storm Jorge on Saturday for counties Clare And Galway. Road users are being advised not to make any non-essential journeys in the affected areas during the storm window from 1pm -4pm Saturday the 29 February. Road users are also being warned to be on guard for dangers posed by hazards following the extreme weather event eg downed pylons lines, trees, branches etc
