We must prioritise essential workers

During current restrictions, we must prioritise driving test appointments for essential workers.

If you are an essential worker who has already applied for a driving test and completed all of your driver training, please complete this form and we will prioritise your application.

If your chosen test centre is very busy it may be a few weeks before we can send you an invitation to book an urgent test appointment.

A limited number of non-essential workers will be invited

From 24 May 2021, we will be allowed to invite a limited number of non-essential workers to book a test. Those who are eligible to take their driving test and have been waiting the longest will be sent an invitation first.

If you have already applied for a test and are waiting for an invitation, there’s no need to contact us. We will email you directly when we reach your application in the queue.

Please note that we operate a fair and transparent process for scheduling tests and will not facilitate queue skipping under any circumstances.
