If you're having trouble accessing your MyEDT portal account, please check the following:

You need to enter your details exactly as they appear on your learner permit. Otherwise you will get the following error: 'Driver does not exist on the NVDF'.

Checklist

• Type in your surname (this comes first) exactly as it’s printed at number ‘1.’ on your learner permit card. Note any punctuation marks or spaces (e.g., O' Brien), hyphens (e.g., Murphy-Doyle) or síneadh fadas (e.g. á, é, í, ó, ú)
• Enter your first name and middle name (if listed) exactly as they appear on your learner permit card at number ‘2.’ Watch out for punctuation marks, hyphens, spaces (e.g., Mary-Kate, Sean Patrick) or síneadh fadas (e.g. á, é, í, ó, ú).
• Enter your date of birth in the following format: 30/10/1978 
• Type in your 9-digit driver number exactly as it’s printed at ‘4d.’ on your learner permit card and make sure there are no blank spaces before or after.

Important: If you’ve only recently received your learner permit card, please allow 10 working days for the system to capture your details before trying to log into MyEDT.
