Employee experience
Working with us
Our Employee Experience is built around creating a workplace where you can do your best work, develop new skills, and build a career that grows with you — backed by a culture that puts people first. From day one, you'll find a team invested in your wellbeing, your development, and your success.
Culture Review
The RSA is the leading voice for road safety in Ireland, with a mission to make Irish roads safer for everyone.
The RSA People Strategy demonstrates a commitment to achieve a strong and positive workplace culture. One which promotes well-being, inclusivity and engagement while aligning closely to the organisation's overall strategy.
The RSA People Strategy places focus on three pillars – which each have specific goals and objectives and these are: ‘People’, ‘Development’ and ‘Culture’. The first action identified to support the third pillar ‘Culture’ was to 'Establish a current view of organisational culture which can be used as a baseline to measure the impact of strategic objectives'.

Employee Assistance Services and wellbeing
We have a dedicated Employee Assistance Service (EAS) that is delivered by Spectrum.Life.
Our EAS provides employees with easy access to a wide variety of wellbeing and mental health supports, free counselling, as well as practical services to help them through a range of personal or work related issues, while equipping them with the tools they need to proactively protect and manage their own mental health.
Employment equality
We aim to create, maintain and cultivate a culture of inclusiveness and diversity where difference is not only respected but encouraged. All staff and management are expected to promote equality.
In line with the Employment Equality Acts 1998-2004, we work hard to ensure there is no unlawful discrimination, either direct or indirect.
Candidates with disabilities
Attracting candidates from all sectors of society to ensure accessible routes to career opportunities is a key priority of the Road Safety Authority. We are committed to equality of opportunity for all candidates. If you have a disability or need reasonable accommodations made during the selection process, (e.g. for interview, assessments or exercises), we strongly encourage you to share this with us so that we can ensure you get the support you need.
Reasonable accommodation in our selection process refers to adjustments and practical changes which would enable a disabled candidate to have an equitable opportunity for this competition. We can provide accommodations for any stage of the process, including online assessments, interviews or exercises.
